Can I tell you something?
I do not think of my body as a temple. And regardless of what I think, it’s looks like a mid-century ranch house that needs a paint job and a new roof.
As I’ve stated in a prior post, for most of my first forty years or so what I ate was not guided by whether it was in any way good for me. My dietary decisions were based exclusively on whether it was delicious or not. It goes without saying – but I’ll say it anyway – that many delicious foods and beverages aren’t particularly healthy. So more recently my diet has been informed by mountains of scientific evidence, influenced by the vox populi, proscribed by my doctor’s stern admonitions, modified to change what I see in the mirror, but ultimately still decided by what’s delicious or not.
