Taking a break for Spring Break, and to celebrate our “100% victory” over Iran, even though they still have all their enriched uranium, an ayatollah in charge of a radical, repressive Islamic republic with even more reason to support global terrorism and attack us, control over the Straight (sic) of Hormuz, and the really good news is it has only cost us the lives of a dozen American servicemen and women, the lives and limbs of thousands of Iranian civilians including hundreds of children, the loss of all our allies’ trust, the moral authority we worked for two and a half centuries to establish, and about a billion dollars a day.
With any luck we’ll be back tanned and rested next Friday to give you the anticlimactic conclusion to the Let’s Go Europe adventure.
