(lunch and the interview continue)
God: We can keep going during lunch, Douglas. This sandwich is delicious by the way. You want a taste?
DB: It looks great, G, but no thank you.
God: I don’t want to be piggish but are you using all three of those tacos?
DB: No, no, two’s my limit. Here. (God now has half his Cubano in one hand and my taco in the other)
God: So, you wanted to ask me something big?
DB: Well, this is another one I’m not sure how to frame. I totally get why social media can be a bad influence on society in general and individual people in particular. I see it every day in my line of work. I guess what puzzles me is why, with the right messenger of course, it couldn’t be used to improve the world and bring us closer together.
