My Exclusive Interview with Meriwether and Bill – Doug Bercy for the Swamp Sentinel

What follows is an exclusive interview with Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, who met me at a Panda Express in suburban St. Louis. I was running late so they’d already gotten lunch and were well into their meal. Clark was wearing faded blue jeans, an REO Speedwagon T-shirt and flip-flops. Lewis dressed up for the occasion in a fringed buckskin jumpsuit with knee-high boots and a beaver hat. Both men were gray at the temples and looked weathered, but in pretty good shape for a couple of 250-year-old explorers.
